The Thunder Road Tubs are a Tennessee hot rod group founded in 2010. These aficionados are all about essential early Porsche cars. An epic 1958 filme noire titled Thunder Road, starring Robert Mitchum, sets an epitaph to a local crime drama during the days of moonshine runs with outlaw cars, serving as a style palimpsest for the group's car purism. Hansjörg Göritz, who had joined this group early, had the pleasurable honor of a thorough graphic design to provide the matching logo badge capturing this cultural context.
