Grand BDA Award 2014 Laureate
Axel Schultes, mentor and friend, received the Grosser BDA-Preis [Grand BDA-Award] 2014 for his outstanding lifetime achievement in architecture and urbanism. In 2012 he gave University of Tennessee Grand Tour students and professors Hansjörg Göritz and Matt Hall a special tour through one of his masterworks. As a critical thinker, space magician, and maker of grand design and civic patterns, he is a key influence on Hansjörg Göritz own path.
