Alabama -

Auburn University and Paul Rudolph

An invitation to guest critique and lecture at Auburn University is an impressive experience to see how early spring begins in Alabama, a bit further south. After Yale's Rudolph Hall in 2012, the city is a repository encounter light and bold early works of Paul Rudolph, a graduate from Auburn University.  The exquisitely maintained, elegant Applebee House best manifests his heroic case-study modernism, contrasted by the Kappa Sigma Fraternity House that breathes a rather Kahnesque spirit.
